Workshop Content
Keys to Quality: Program Leadership is now available. This module, specifically created for Program Administrators, is designed to help state and local leaders in Even Start Family Literacy implement high quality programs that meet and exceed statutory requirements.
This 3-day workshop will allow each participant to accomplish the following goals:
- Understand the current Even Start statute
- Understand current research supporting the Core Body of Knowledge relating to Even Start Family Literacy
- Understand and implement the Key Values
- Respond to the literacy needs of adults living in poverty and their children
- Build on the principles of family empowerment
- Participate in continuing professional development at all levels of implementation
